Betty’s Lunch Sack

I’m excited to be offering this new pattern! What started as a present for my friend Betty is now available as a pdf downloadable pattern.

My dear friend Betty is a librarian. She spends her days helping patrons research history and genealogy. Betty deserves a sophisticated lunch sack that’s sized for a grown-up lunch, so I created one for her that she would be happy to take with her to work.

This business worthy lunch sack features briefcase style handles and a super easy, no-fail zipper closure. It’s insulated and sized to hold a very respectably sized lunch and yet sews up quick. Don’t forget to pack chocolate for desert!

Finished dimensions: 8″ wide, 4″ deep, and 8.5″ tall (excluding handles)

Easy to follow instructions accompany lots of clear photographs to guide you through its construction. It’s lined with Insul-Bright® to keep your food cold till lunchtime. Made in a bright fabric, it’ll keep you smiling all day!

Fabric Requirements:
Exterior Fabric: ½ yard of woven fabric, quilting weight or home dec. weight or 2 fat quarters
Lining: ½ yard of quilting weight fabric or 2 fat quarters
You’ll also need some interfacing, Insul-Bright®, and a dress zipper. All the details are in the pdf.
